[Recording]Economic Impact Analysis of the Citadel – Rob Carey, Clemson University
The Citadel, the public military college located in Charleston, South Carolina, has played a significant role in the history of the city and the state since the institution was founded in 1842. Beyond its rich legacy, the college contributes to the regional economy through its staff, students, and visitors.
REMI cordially invites you to a guest webinar presentation on Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 from 2 to 3 p.m. EST by Robert T. Carey, Ph.D., Director, Clemson University Regional Economic Analysis Laboratory, exploring the economic effects of the Citadel.
In evaluating the impacts, Dr. Carey takes into account operational and capital expenditures by the college, as well as visitor spending, and spending by its student body, the Corps of Cadets. For this presentation, he will review the findings and the methodologies behind this evaluation.
