eREMI provides organizations a structural based economic and demographic forecast up to 2060. REMI has been the source for dynamic macroeconomic analysis and regional forecasting for over 40 years. REMI creates an annual county-level forecast for the United States using both national and county data. With this, we are able to demonstrate how regions are interconnected with the nation. Our unique approach to forecasting provides stakeholders a credible and comprehensive forecast.
The REMI forecast is utilized by MPO’s for population and employment forecasts, state DOT’s for long range plans, EDC’s for showcasing their regional competitiveness, private sector organizations for dynamic SWOT analysis, universities for regional research, and other entities. REMI applies publicly available data with a transparent framework to provide a wide range of macroeconomic and demographic indicators.
